We always save your data if possible. In fact, we begin the process by first making a copy of your hard drive just to make sure that we don't lose anything. We then use our proprietary methods to tear out every virus, trojan, worm, rootkit, keylogger, backdoor loader, etc. More often than not, when we finish, Windows no longer functions properly (or at all) because the infection insinuated itself into operating system files (this is why it's so hard to remove it yourself.) Therefore, we use various methods to get Windows back up on it's feet. If necessary, we re-install a fresh copy of Windows. All this at no extra charge!

We have removed spyware, virus infections, trojan horses, and other forms of malware from literally thousands of computers. While removing these infections, we have lost virtually no data. Our process for removing viruses, spyware, and other malware is non-destructive whenever possible. This means we usually leave your programs and settings unharmed. If we have to re-install Windows, we can usually transfer your Microsoft Office, but you will need to re-install other programs and re-setup printers and wireless network passwords. The good news is that we do not charge extra for re-installing Windows. If we need to visit your home or office in order to resintall printers, wireless, etc. our charge is $85 per hour. We do not add travel time in the Wicker Park / Bucktown area.
